| Having gained invaluable experience of working at the Anatoly Krall Big Band, Julia continues the tradition of the jazz big band composition and also collaborates with ones as a pianist and a singer. | ||||

| “Crimson Pie” is a powerful mid-size jazz ensemble from Moscow, Russia, the brainchild of Julia Sidorenko. One of the most significant features of the group is a highly developed storytelling embodied in music. Each composition invites the listener to either spacewalk, or to go down into the Moscow subway, to spend a busy day in the metropolis or to reflect on the eternal themes. The instrumental line-up includes 2 alto saxophones, tenor saxophone, electric guitar, piano, bass and drums, which helps to achieve a specific warm deep sound. |

| MODERN FOLK JAZZ COLLECTIVE - the band is focused on performing the original jazz music which is based on Russian folk melodies. • MFJ Collective is a Grand Prix Winner and a laureate of some international competitions, the band participated in the International Jazz Day 2018 (St Petersburg, Russia, established by UNESCO), it also performs at the famous Russian venues as Igor Butman Jazz Club, Moscow International House Of Music, Jam Club etc. • MFJ Collective won the Cinema Jazz Awards 2018. • In 2020 the band became the finalist of the EverJazz Showcase at Ekaterinburg (Russia) and played several concerts with the extended version of the band which includes vibes and reeds. Now, in its new era, the band has more instrumental vibe rather then the one of the popular songs. |

| Since 2004 until 2014 Julia had been studying at the jazz music school (Rostov-on-Don) and as a result got her major in jazz piano studies and minor in vocals. As a jazz vocalist she participated in junior international competitions, concerts and festivals. After the graduation she started her career as a singer-pianist, presenting her original compositions while playing with her own band as well as performing them with big bands (“CoolGroove BigBand”, “Moscow Jazz Orchestra”, “Academic Band”). In 2017 she won Gnesin Jazz Voice International Competition. |
